Some of our clients come to us through recommendations from designers, developers, agencies and previous clients. Where we have agreed to pay a referral fee or commission to someone who introduces a client to us, that fee is paid by us out of our own income. It does not increase what the client pays, and it does not change what we recommend.
Our work often touches areas we do not cover ourselves, such as web design, development, hosting or paid advertising, and we will sometimes suggest another provider. In some cases we may receive a referral fee or commission for doing so. Where that applies, we will tell you before you commit to anything, and you are under no obligation to use anyone we suggest.
We may occasionally link to third-party software, plugins, hosting or other services. Some of those links may be affiliate links, which means we could receive a small commission if you sign up, at no additional cost to you. We only recommend tools we would be willing to use ourselves.
A commercial relationship never determines what we recommend. Our advice is based on what we believe is right for your website and your commercial objectives, and we will say so plainly if the better option for you is one that earns us nothing. If you would prefer we suggest only providers we have no arrangement with, tell us and we will.
